It is very important to have a good business plan and also important to have good, hard working and trust worthy business partners. It is very important to be committed to the plan and go through the hard ships. To start the company I will try to patents first and I will try to discuss with my family and friends about it. The first test to test the idea in real world and make sure it worth the effort. For the start up, I will try to do it full time with the saving may be around $10,000 - 20,000 to put in. There should be small goals every day, month, quarter and yearly. I will try to get my partners based on their experience and their passion in the company. The first step will be building a team and making a corporation or Limited Liability Team in which it will be clearly written about the member and the percentages of their share in the company. The first step will be try to convince my family, friends to give me some loan for the startup for the company around $80,000 to $100,000. Our company will also try to get some percentage as an advance payment from the clients and also sign contract with them about the services being provided and the payment details with them. When the company gets on a bigger level, we can approach the investors, banks and other money loan lending institutes.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03104981651921125076noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1639727584991443430.post-24947627364312180072019-03-08T21:52:00.000-08:002019-03-08T21:52:15.366-08:00Startup.com Documentary<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;">Startup.com was a great documentary that captured a great amount of information with the big boom with the start of internet and how new opportunities opened up for everyone and ready to jump it. The story started when the two friends have an idea of opening a company called govWorks.com which will help the consumers to pay their parking tickets, renew their licenses and even do other things while being at home. It sounded very great but the biggest failure was they couldn't deliver what they promised and had big huge problems with their upper administration. The company grew exponentially and became harder for the Co-CEO to handle it. <span style="background-color: white;"><span style="color: #222222;">Kaleil Tuzman was the in charge of the finances in the company and the Tom Herman was the in charge of the Technology in the company. The third founder Kenneth got $700,000 for his share in the company which was very less than the worth of his share in his company and the value of the company was much more than that. Kaleil worked pretty good in generating the funds for the company and also making them a popular name in the news headlines. The revenue they generated was more than 60 million dollars but because of having next to low experience and needed good programmers to make the website functional and usable. It was little awkward seeing Tom getting kicked out of the office and It was interesting that the Kaleil's computer got breached and now he is serving time for fraud and data breach. </span></span></span>Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03104981651921125076noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1639727584991443430.post-59276690846118039862019-03-03T13:13:00.000-08:002019-03-03T13:13:01.378-08:00Shadrach White<br />
<div class="MsoNormal">
It was a great opportunity to hear the experience with his
business, the mistakes and good choices he made. The plan of the success is never
straight, and it is always the process of learning and making changing if they
are needed in it. Shadrach White did make many different companies and many ups
and downs. He had an eye opener with his first company in which he failed miserably
and had a dept of seventy five thousand dollars. He had a great idea of selling
original NBA jersey of NBA teams. The part the company struggle was the lack of
knowledge of financial side of the business. Because of that the company went
out of business. This gave him the time to get more knowledge and work on the
mistakes he made earlier in this project. The second company was a success, but
he had issues going on with the other partners in which he had to leave the company.
The company became worth over 20 million dollars and he also became a
millionaire. The lesson he learned from this was to always put it down on the
paper before starting any company which the shareholders and how many
percentages of each shareholder are owns in the company.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>It is important lesson for any new company to
record everything and have everything written completely. The third company he
is working right now is a company is cloud computer base company which work
with company and help them do everything cloud base instead of the hardware.
This company has became a big success with this new platform. This is 100%
owned by him and is now worth over 10 million dollars. <o:p></o:p></div>

He talked about his whole experience of running a business and the ups and down that it comes with working with people. He is the founder of the company named <span style="background-color: white; color: #292929; font-family: Lora, serif; text-align: justify;">Intelligent Platform & Architecture</span> IPA which worked with the Fire fighter and developed a product by just going up to the Tacoma fire department about what issues or problems they have. His product increased the safety of the fire fighters when they go in the field and also gives them homework about the building or the area they are going in about any chemical spills or any other dangerous products. It also gives the floor plan of the building they are going in and it could be a life death in these situation by knowing the floor and also about the exits of the building. Sometimes, developing of a product could be just seeing the problems and finding the solutions of them. It is very important to make product that has a positive change in everyday lives and could help us whole. It almost one year to fully develop this product from scratch to a real world working technology. It was easy for him to get funding for these kind of projects and the company who paid him got the owns the product but he is still keeps the patent and license of this product. He is an Assistant Professor at University of Washington Tacoma and he teaches electrical engineering.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03104981651921125076noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1639727584991443430.post-12075020925079179792019-02-20T22:43:00.003-08:002019-02-20T22:43:44.000-08:00Erik Hanberg Guest Speaker<span style="background-color: white;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 13.2px;">Erik Hanberg was our guest Speaker. He has written a series of books that the coolest part about that was one time that he just wrote the first part of the book to see the demand of the his readers if there is demand for his book and see it would be smart to invest in the time and money with his book. He said it got really easier with the help with the technology and Amazon. From the traditional book to the electronic selling books, the book authors can be there own business marketers and </span></span></span><span style="font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 13.2px;">entrepreneurs</span></span><span style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 13.2px;">. <div class="MsoNormal">
To start a business, it is very important to come up with a
unique idea that makes them different from others and successful if they follow
through with it. Coming up with the right idea is very important and it will be
document that needs a lot of research and need to change depends on the demand will
change. It is very easy to hack and steal information from the hacking and other
techniques. Putting it down on the paper and making it a legal document and
getting the rights for it is very important and on time. It is important to put
all the important details in the document and do some research about it. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>It is very important to keep this idea safe
and protected from others. The first is to make a trademark of the idea and do
it in a company. It will make the trade mark will only be used by you and can’t
be used by others. Copyright could also be used to keep it safe which means that
I own that kind of software and is the owner of the property. Using
Confidentiality agreement for the members of the company or even employees and
action can be taken against them if they leaked or the information is leaked. It
is also important to sign a contract with the client so that the rules and regulations
of the service being provided to the them in the simple words so there should not
any problems or any other issues with it. It is very important to protect the
intellectual property because it will keep the idea safe. <o:p></o:p></div>

<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="color: black; font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 107%;">I
got reflections on my business ideas reflection from other students and friends.
The activity was an eye opener and the opportunity to the ideas from different angles
and different approach. The two ideas were preferred was the car wash and virtually
reality meeting. Out of the three ideas the most liked one was the app
development for the car washes. There are very few car washes and it play a big
role with this as it will give more opportunity for car washes to be able to
get more opportunity to get more customer base for them. I need to find a
better way to approach all the car washes what generate the income generator.
This will be car wash app that will give more coupons or different special
based on the location of the car and the customers will be able to buy monthly
car washing services threw these app by just going to the car wash and scanning
the bar code. Also add special like 1 car wash free after 9 car washes it will
generate more customers and repeat customers. This can also open doors for doing
business with different car dealers and car wash store app where the customers
can pay threw the app. Also develop a gaming section in the app where the
customer can play car washing game. The other ideas like virtual reality
meeting or different ideas it can help the greatly in the areas of like emergency
or other areas like concert and other areas like video calling. This could help
in many areas and could be the next big thing. But it is hard to achieve as it needs
to have more advance virtually equipment. The third choice of the review checker
on different services or have double review like uber or lift was a good idea
and the meeting able to see that the checker wasn’t a good idea so I am
thinking about able to check and double review system. </span><o:p></o:p></div>
<br />Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03104981651921125076noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1639727584991443430.post-67780974203650780882019-01-17T04:00:00.001-08:002019-01-17T04:00:50.726-08:003 Ideas- TINST 475I took a course that involved us taking a everyday work and find the struggle while doing this activity. It was hard to choose from the everyday activities and I thought of car washing and the problem it involves with it. Washing a car is a very important and finding the right one is a struggle sometimes as there are almost no reviews and no price point on them on the internet. The solution of the problem was coming up with an app that will help the customer with the location, the reviews about the car wash based on their choice, the pricing of the car wash and most important the any coupons or discounts of the car wash. It will one platform where it will work with most of the car wash companies and give them coupons based on that and it make almost 10% worth the coupon from the car wash and get that money back as revenue for the app. It is a good business model because it will benefit both the car wash and the app. Virtual reality could be one of the biggest thing the future as of we are going right now. I would like to develop an app where you could do a virtual reality video call to friends in which the person can really see and feel the other person or the person they car calling. It would give the person the full feature and will fix other issues. It would be great if the person who called to get a full highlighted person kind of 3-D projected view so it would be easier to see and feel the person. I saw this Tupac rapper projected view, the projected and it would be next level. There should be corporation that overlooks the reviews of google or other platforms and confirms that the reviews are not biased and free form them.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03104981651921125076noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1639727584991443430.post-37521417786181304752015-12-15T09:20:00.002-08:002015-12-15T09:20:29.105-08:00ConvergenceConvergence, is combining two or more to make a phenomena. Converge is first introduced in the 1990s used by some companies work together to make better product and work efficient. Cell phone is a great example of convergence product, for example- Sony phone, runs on android software.<br />
Microsoft and Apple were the only companies who were using converge in the same building. Apple was dying and Microsoft was its rival. Microsoft was known as the one of the strongest companies and was controlling everything and gets done whatever they want. The government step in to tell Microsoft that they have to make a different department for its products. Because of this, Microsoft invested $150 million dollars, to keep Apple alive and Microsoft did not have to make another department.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03104981651921125076noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1639727584991443430.post-35659789540328297342015-12-15T09:06:00.001-08:002015-12-15T09:06:44.143-08:00What does a community and does tech provide Technological community, it is a community in the virtual world, online community. This community is used in many different ways. We can communicate with others, share our thoughts, vacation pictures, find other friends and highlights with others things. We can do it just like real life. There are many different communities like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, UW Canvas. All these is like a virtual community, we can message anyone at any time, block the people we don't like. <div>
Just like the in real life, ignore the people and don't talk to them. Facebook and Twitter are the biggest social networking websites with user all over the world. These company are worth billions and billions of dollars. People get very addicted to these sites and people are always on their phones. Today, people like to text more than talk on their phones. <div>

Most popular social networking site and have overtaken all its competition. It has over 1 billion users across the globe. It got popular during 2009 and became one of the strongest companies right now. It connects people, share their thoughts, pictures and memories with no cost, just free. Now, we can even call with the messenger, without any phone number. <div>
In Brazil, three friends made Facegloria which is like the cleaner version of Facebook for the Christians or other religious use. Over 600 bad words have been blocked from it. You can even find your soul mate through Facebook but there are no guarantee about it. Facebook has some disadvantages like- too addictive, Have no life, being jealous and trying to show off too much.<br /><div>
Overall, it was an amazing and the funniest presentation. I really enjoyed listening to the Positive and Negative effects of Facebook. </div>

Startup.com is a documentary movie
based on a true story during the late 1990s and early 2000s. This movie
reminded me of 2008 recession where people thought they were balling (rich) and
suddenly the economy crashed and people lost everything. This company named
Govworks is a great example for the Dot.com to Dot.bomb to Dot and Pyramid
Company. In 1998, Kaleil Isaza Tuzman and Tom Herman get together with a faith
of making online services where you can pay the parking tickets online and save
time-money. They all quit their jobs and started working together. Day by day
the company started growing, hiring more people. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;">
The company is getting famous and
getting a lot of attention from media. Tuzman also met up with President Bill
Clinton. People started buying their shares, I would of too. He is having
meetings with the President, obviously he is legit and going to make a lot of
money. After getting popular, people got interested and bought the shares. Became
the more than 60 million dollars before even doing anything, before the actual
website was made. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;">
They were living the celebrity life
with the bling, they were making a lot of money and having a lot of fun- big
cars, being on the media all the time. They get some competition from other
companies who were doing the same thing. Tuzman lets their competitors to see
their workplace and plans with just being overconfident and stupid. They paid a
lot of money to the web-designers but the website did not achieve the
expectations. The competitor’s website was better. It was interesting Turzman
with two sides, he fired his friend Tom but on his face he acted like he didn’t
have anything to do with it. <o:p></o:p></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;">
In 2000, the company went bankrupted
total 0 and everything ended. <o:p></o:p></div>

This time was an early technology world run which became phenomena but failed after short period of time. This time changed the lives of millions of people from poor to rich to poor. To make more sense of it this era is divided into six time periods- An Innocent Beginning, Boom!, Insanity!!, Bust!@#%*!, The Crawl Back to Sanity, Bonus Stage: Uh-oh…<br />
Everything started in 1993, with a good start of the insanity. Day by Day it gets crazier with companies with everyone going online and tons of new companies starting and were worth millions of dollars with all the people investing in them. All the big companies were going online with their products. All the computer related people were getting the doubled their salaries with shares as bonuses. The stocks were sky rocking and ridiculous amount of money was getting involved.<br />
Bust 2001, a lot of companies went bankrupt because they were not capable of running at the first place. It was just big mistake for letting companies and making the stock overvalued by buying it. It took a long time get out of this huge mass virtual earthquake. In 2015, everyone is online and we learnt from our past mistakes well.<br />

He is currently commissioner of Metro Parks Board of Tacoma with a history of Hartio theater. Steven Hawking said the biggest threat on us is the Artificial Intelligence. Erik is author of number of books around 10, he started in 2009 and some books are based on "The 4 hour work week" book.<br />
"The privacy you have today is the most privacy you will ever have" -Andrew Fry and Erik Hanberg. Very strong statement and has a deep message that the privacy is going to decrease from day by day. He also talked about the business side of the books selling, how its much easier than earlier. The difference in money making of having your publisher and doing it yourself. Amazon takes the 30% of the whole for selling, packing from the whole amount.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03104981651921125076noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1639727584991443430.post-75280977506482186622015-11-04T23:15:00.000-08:002015-11-08T22:07:05.062-08:00Three Things Not To Buy Online1. 2. Car- Because looking online doesn't give full satisfaction about if it has any damage, good engine and looking the papers.<br />
3. Groceries- can buy few but still have to go big Grocery to buy them.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03104981651921125076noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1639727584991443430.post-30510609471437772032015-11-04T22:30:00.001-08:002015-11-04T22:30:33.079-08:00Scavenger Hunt ActivityThis activity was about searching internet to find the answers of the questions. Questions were based on the information that we can online but needs some searching and digging. It was interesting to find the amount and depth of information we can find in the matter of milliseconds. Some questions were easy to find but for some questions some work was needed. It was a fun activity and somethings different, new and unexpected. <div>
In my group we divided the questions paper into 3. It was faster and we help each other when the person doing it couldn't find the answer. Middle sister's married name was one of the hardest question, I answered Nancy but I heard she is the youngest sister. So I don't know. We turned in our paper the second, we got the best surprise ever $5 Starbucks gift card, which was more shocking than surprising. </div>

It was pretty cool to see how all the massive companies worth billions of dollars and very strong are very young less than 20 years old. They were just an idea and became history. Some companies were big earlier day but after sometime went downhill and just became stories.<br />

It was very simple straight forward on the point with the help of the document "How
to Create a Simple Web Page With HTML". I never thought it will be that simple, start with <__> and end with </___>, - title, body etc. I felt satisfied, when it was complete. It was something I haven't done before. I made a Seattle Seahawks, Marshawn Lynch html page with a green background and his picture.<br />

Electronic mail and postal mail have many similarities and
differences. Both help make our lives easier
and less hectic, both are important communication medium for us. Mail is the ancestor/father
of email, being used from centuries, it was the typical old style postal in
which people write and send messages to each other in physical envelope and
takes a long time/ long process. On the other hand, the email is the new
technology Electronic mail, it is much faster and is send through computers or
phones, received in matter of seconds. It is more popular nowadays, quicker, inexpensive,
less work. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
Similarities-
Both have mail in the name- Electronic mail and postal mail. Reliable and outstanding
communication medium. Go through almost the same route post office to the mail
box of the receiver. Both get the junk mail- advertisements from grocery and
shopping centers. Photos, documents,
information can be sent. Mail is sent inside an envelope, Email the send button
is an animation of an envelope. Both can be send to any part of the world, if
they know the email or address of the receiving person. <o:p></o:p></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal">
Differences-
The speed- Mail is much slower, can take around 3-5 days depends on the
distance but Email is much faster, can be received in seconds. Material- Mail
is physical mail can receive books, laptops, games almost anything. But email is
not electronic not physical. Sender has to post the letter in postal office. Email
can be send from anywhere, as long as you have electronic device to email and the
access internet. Mail can be less precise on the name or address and still can
be received by the right person, but email has to be exact on the point right
about the email address. Email is being used by all the educational departments to communicate between the students, teachers and faculties. Email is the future of the mail. <o:p></o:p></div>
