Electronic mail vs Postal mail

Electronic mail and postal mail have many similarities and differences.  Both help make our lives easier and less hectic, both are important communication medium for us. Mail is the ancestor/father of email, being used from centuries, it was the typical old style postal in which people write and send messages to each other in physical envelope and takes a long time/ long process. On the other hand, the email is the new technology Electronic mail, it is much faster and is send through computers or phones, received in matter of seconds. It is more popular nowadays, quicker, inexpensive, less work.
                Similarities- Both have mail in the name- Electronic mail and postal mail. Reliable and outstanding communication medium. Go through almost the same route post office to the mail box of the receiver. Both get the junk mail- advertisements from grocery and shopping centers.  Photos, documents, information can be sent. Mail is sent inside an envelope, Email the send button is an animation of an envelope. Both can be send to any part of the world, if they know the email or address of the receiving person.

                Differences- The speed- Mail is much slower, can take around 3-5 days depends on the distance but Email is much faster, can be received in seconds. Material- Mail is physical mail can receive books, laptops, games almost anything. But email is not electronic not physical. Sender has to post the letter in postal office. Email can be send from anywhere, as long as you have electronic device to email and the access internet. Mail can be less precise on the name or address and still can be received by the right person, but email has to be exact on the point right about the email address. Email is being used by all the educational departments to communicate between the students, teachers and faculties. Email is the future of the mail.
